My Space. My Life

I missed the rebel soo much. I didn’t have the chance to hold it and shoot for soo long. Now that I am slowing down, I am planning to shoot to my hearts content. I want a lot of things for my rebel and I hope I could get a couple of things off my wish list soon. Let me list them down:

That’s the wish list muna for now. Once I get more practice, that’s the time I am buying other stuff. Besides, I still have to familiarize myself with the different lenses out there. Oh and btw, I am excited for next weekend. I start attending Jo Avila’s Basic Photography workshop! Tell you more about it soon. Toodles!

I’ve decided to get a dSLR this December and I can not wait! I know I said I would put it aside for the big move but I just can’t resist! Each day, my love and curiosity for photgraphy grows. In fact, I am missing my beloved S3 IS right now. My sister borrowed it for a school function and I won’t be getting it back until next week. Sigh. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been thinking if I’d really get the dSLR. I keep asking myself if I would have the time to take photos. But you know what, I will make time. I will invest. I will grow in this newfound hobby. Now my dilemma is which camera to get. The Canon EOS 400D or the Nikon D40x? Any suggestions?

Last Sunday, October 28, my colleagues and I had our team building at Sonya’s Garden Tagaytay and we had so much fun. Food was great, environment was great and the activities were great. After Sonya’s we went straight to Enchanted Kingdon and had great fun. Also it was a wonderful chance for me to practice and tinker with my Canon S3 IS. We are going to Ilocos in July! Yey!!!  I’ve been wanting to travel somewhere for ages!  I think the last time the husband and I went out of town was March of 2005. Sheesh! 

This is exciting for me as I’ve never been to Ilocos - my mother in law’s hometown.  I can’t wait to stuff up on the Bacarra longganisa, go to the beautiful beach of Pagudpud, visit historical Vigan with it’s exquisite jars of clay, and most of all, take all the pictures I want! Finally a chance to practice taking pictures!  I’ve been cooped up in Manila too long.

 Now it’s time to save up some more for that trip!
