Executive Search Firm

February 28, 2008

I found a really nice and reliable executive recruiting firm for those of you who are currently on a job hunt.

AE Feldman and Associates have been in the recruitment industry since 1967 and are professionals in their field. They have maintained a high standard of service in the industry that is why they have gained the trust of top industry clients. I bet the successful careers of their recrtuiters and the record of successful placements they have made is an added plus for them. I mean, with a record like that, who wouldn ‘t trust them right?

So anyway, i suggest you go visit their site as you won’t have trouble searching for a job opening. They have divided it into 3 options: By Job Category, By Location, By Keyword. The site is also nice to look at and is user-friendly.

I Got! I Got!

Remember my post about wanting some stuff for the Rebel? Well..got them all! Well, except for the speedlight but that’s okay. I’ll buy that another time. yes, I got the Canon EF f/1.8 lens (and on sale too!), 2 UV lenses and 2 lens hoods, a tripod and most of all I got the Crumpler 6 million dollar home! I am one happy camper! I got everything in Hidalgo except for the Crumpler which you can buy in TriNoMa. They have a store there with tons of choices!

Next on my list would be the speedlight, the rocket air blower to blow off dust and a CF card reader. Master Jo Avila made a lot of sense when he suggested that. It would deifinitely save some battery time and I wouldn’t need to connect the camera to the lappie.

I am excited. :)

An Update

What’s up with Nyree you say? Well nothing much, just the pile of work getting higher everyday. Gah! I have no life anymore. But tell me how do I choose? If I don’t work, I don’t get paid. How am I going to buy the stuff I need for my Rebel? lol! Such problems I have.

Anyway, I’ve been taking Basic Photography lessons with Jo Avila but I missed the second class due to the sickies. Darn! Good thing master Jo has been kind enough to have me attend a make up class. The lessons are really great and I have learned so much. I just need to practice on proper exposure. Well, there is still a lot to learn. I just hope I am able to put them to good use.

That’s it for now. Toodles!

Gold

February 11, 2008

Did you know that gold is available in ingot form? What is an ingot you say? I just recently found out that ingot is are pure buillon cast into convenient size and shapes.

I know that gold has always been an investment for people, even in ancient times. I myself is fond of gold and lately I am really thinking about investing. I found out about MDC or MOnex Deposit Company and they offer quite a service. You can purchase gold or other precious metals from them and they can arrange for immediate personal delivery or they can arrange for convenient and safe storage. They have been a leader of American metals investment for over 30 years now and with a dedicated staff of hard asset professionals, they are really committed to give you the best they have to offer.

I want! I want!

February 10, 2008

I missed the rebel soo much. I didn’t have the chance to hold it and shoot for soo long. Now that I am slowing down, I am planning to shoot to my hearts content. I want a lot of things for my rebel and I hope I could get a couple of things off my wish list soon. Let me list them down:

  • Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens
A lens hood - can you suggest what’s best? I have the kit lens so far.
    UV filter
    A tripod
    Crumpler 7 million dollar home
    A Canon 530ex speedlight
  • That’s the wish list muna for now. Once I get more practice, that’s the time I am buying other stuff. Besides, I still have to familiarize myself with the different lenses out there. Oh and btw, I am excited for next weekend. I start attending Jo Avila’s Basic Photography workshop! Tell you more about it soon. Toodles!

    Am Alive!

I am alive. Still breathing. I have been busy with moving back to the old site and helping launch a new account. It isn’t easy I tell ya. Dealing with clients is never easy especially clients from the UK. I love love love their accent though! hahaha!

Seriously, the past weeks were hell for me spending almost 24 hours everyday, going home just to sleep a couple of hours and take a bath only to see my desk again. Weekends are no different as I had to work work work. Man, what I would do to be lying in Boracay’s sandy white beach right now. Well, guess what, I got sick this week so I had to slow down and recuperate. Along with that is a vow to not let my work eat up my life. I swear I am going to reclaim my life.
