My sister is planning to get another degree but she’s hesitant because she didn’t want to go through long lines of enrolment or long traffic jams. I told her she should consider Online Learning. It’s more convenient and it would give her more time to do stuff that she loves. I asked her to check out Capella University because they are an accredited, fully online based university and was recently a finalist for the Minnesota Tekne Award. She was still hesitant but when I told her that Capella serves nearly 20,000 students in all 50 states and 56 countries, she immediately changed her mind. I’m thinking she will be signing up soon.

For sometime now I have been feeling down about my career. I felt like I made a wrong decision and felt so trapped and hopeless. For many days, I was forcing myself to get up out of bed and get ready for work. Yesterday was no exception. While traveling to work under the sweltering heat and getting antsy about the traffic, I decided to talk to God. I knew no other way to relieve me from my stress and anxiousness than turning to God in prayer.

I told him everything, of how tired I was, of how I didn’t want to work anymore but didn’t have the choice, it was honest to goodness, no holds barred, whining me, making ’sumbong’ to my Father in heaven. Up until I stepped out of the elevator, I was still at it! Then suddenly, as I entered our glass doors, I was greeted with a scene from our windows. The sun setting, big bright and orange.

I didn’t have the answers to my questions but I stopped in the middle of my whining, and I felt instant peace. It was God telling me to be still and know that He is GOD (Psalm 46:10). It was God assuring me of perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). It was God comforting me telling me all things will work for my good (Romans 8:28). Thank you Father!

How’s your Christmas so far? Have you been to the people filled malls or braved the horrendous traffic? If you did then welcome to the holidays! I don’t really mean this in a bad way. I mean this is the fun in the holidays. And amidst all the tiring, hustle ang bustle, you feel joy and warmth. So Merry Christmas everyone!

Hello! The party was a success! SiTEL outdid themselves this year by holding their best Christmas party yet! The theme this year was Casino Royale and it was held at the SMX Convention Center. The place is huge! If you have the moola, and plan to get married at the Shrine of Jesus, I suggest you hold your reception at the SMX. Anyway, we occupied the entire second floor. Yes, people, halls 1 to 4 were occupied by SiTEL. Food was so-so but not exceptional. It was catered by Tamayo’s. The hosts, Ogie Alcasid (sorry I forgot the girls name) did a great job. Club Mwah performers also did a fantastic job! Their performances ala Las Vegas were great! I hope next year will outshine this years hehehe! I often hear stories about people getting stranded in the storm. You know, that’s when you’re driving and suddenly find yourself in the middle of the storm. It’s pretty hard to drive like that. Anyway, tonight is our company Christmas party and I am excited to go. In my 2 years of stay, this is the first time I am going to attend the Christmas party. Well, I am actually more excited with putting the Rebel to use and with our manager’s plan of going out after the party. We will have our own party whee!
