The husband and I recently received an invitation to visit Germany by our dear friends Carl and Ivy. They’ve been staying there for quite some time now and they are raving about Germany’s beauty. I am excited beyond you can imagine. The husband is skeptical about the costs but what the heck. It’s not everyday you get to travel right? Besides, the couple has offered they’re place for us to stay in just in case. My apologies for the lack of modesty lol!

I am particularly interested in visiting Berlin and Vienna .

Berlin interests me specifically because it is a major center in European politics,culture, media and science. I would love to see the Anne Frank Zentrum which is the German partner of the Ann Frank’s House Amsterdam. Isn’t Ann Franks life interesting?

Vienna is another place worth going to. It is the capital of Austria. It is also it’s largest city. Vienna is also Austria’s cultural, political and economic center. Who wouldn’t want to visit a city that was awarded a UNESCO World heritage site? I remember a movie starring Mandy Moore where she portrayed the president daughter. Sorry I forgot the title but what stuck to me was Mandy swimming on the Danube river. No, it wasn’t Mandy Moore who stuck to my mind but the beauty of the view. Yes, the river Danube is in Vienna and I’d really want to go to Danube Island. I hear the view there is magnificent!
