My Space. My Life

It’s the rainy season here in my part of the world. Well, it’s more like typhoon season actually. It’s been raining for a couple of days now coupled with strong winds.

There are days when I feel good about the rain. I mean, after the scorching summer, it’s a relief. It feels so good sleeping at night snuggled up warmly under the blankets beside the husband. Or maybe drinking hot chocolate while looking through the window watching the rain and smelling the scent of rain soaked grass.

But sometimes, I think about the families whose homes and livelihood are ravaged by the storms. I feel sad thinking about where they would stay or get their next meal. When the rain stops, how do they start building their lives again? Sigh. I wish I could help more but the only thing I can do now is lift them up to God in prayer.

Ahh..here comes the rain again. It comes and goes. The sky cloudy, the sun nowhere to be found. It looks gloomy alright but who says I have to be gloomy too?
