My Space. My Life

The husbo and I have been meaning to do some renovations in our room. We need to have our room painted and floorings too! Oh and not to mention the space on one end that used to be a bathroom turned storage. I think there’s some problem about the pipings and stuff but the husbo has expressed his desire to bring it back to life.

I told the husbo that we need to find a company where you could choose from thousands of quality products and one that could offer online view of the fixtures they offer. Today I found such a company in Better Bathrooms. Literally thousands of up to date, quality products! Needless to say, I was drooling on the wonderful products they have.

If you must know, I am someone who is very particular about bathrooms. It’s a place where I can relax just soaking my stress away, or perhaps getting a relaxing jacuzzi bath. Showers can be relaxing too! Oh, and a bathroom suite couldn’t hurt either! The heated towel rails is pure genius! Wet towels is one of the problems we face everyday because I really don’t like the smell of wet cloth. So this product takes the cake for me!

The husbo is now quiet. I think he is preparing himself for the shopping that would commence very soon. Well, as he puts it: “if better bathrooms is what it takes to make you happy, then so be it!” I just love the husbo!

With the mood I am in now, I need something to pick me up. I need to see something in our room to cheer my day and what better way to do that than to see flowers. I want to see red roses in every corner. Hmm maybe if I close my eyes…

Anyway, that didn’t work so I hopped inside the world wide web and found FiftyFlowers.com. Their site is such eye candy it gave me some instant joy. I was thrilled to find out they offer wholesale roses and some ecuadorian long stem roses which are my absolute favorite! Hmm they would be good for a friend who’s getting married soon. She would love getting huge discount on her flowers. Which made me read more about the company. How do they give out such a huge discount? Is the quality the same?

I got my answer. Turns out they were really smart in taking out the wholesalers and the retailers from the supply chain. They go directly to their customers. Neat! And you know what else is cool? The delivery fee is included in the price so you won’t have to make extra calculations!

Why do you keep popping up in my head? Haven’t I forgiven you? Oh well, maybe I really haven’t. lol! But seriously, you keep popping in my head lately and it makes my blood boil. Why am I so affected again?

This is crazy. I am crazy. Go away past. Leave me alone.

I haven’t held the Rebel in days. I see it. I look at it and yet I am hesitant to hold it. I don’t know. I’ve been really frustrated with my pictures. I feel like they’re so blah. Why can’t I take pictures with vibrant colors? Why can’t I see extra ordinary stuff to take pictures of? I guess it’s true what they say. It really doesn’t matter what equipment you have, if you don’t have the eye, you don’t have it.

Sorry for being so negative. I am just frustrated that’s all. Frustrated about a lot of things. But I know I can’t give up especially about photography. Now if only I can convince myself that I like classroom based seminars then I’d rush and enroll myself in a photography seminar.

Remember my post about wanting some stuff for the Rebel? Well..got them all! Well, except for the speedlight but that’s okay. I’ll buy that another time. yes, I got the Canon EF f/1.8 lens (and on sale too!), 2 UV lenses and 2 lens hoods, a tripod and most of all I got the Crumpler 6 million dollar home! I am one happy camper! I got everything in Hidalgo except for the Crumpler which you can buy in TriNoMa. They have a store there with tons of choices!

Next on my list would be the speedlight, the rocket air blower to blow off dust and a CF card reader. Master Jo Avila made a lot of sense when he suggested that. It would deifinitely save some battery time and I wouldn’t need to connect the camera to the lappie.

I am excited.

What’s up with Nyree you say? Well nothing much, just the pile of work getting higher everyday. Gah! I have no life anymore. But tell me how do I choose? If I don’t work, I don’t get paid. How am I going to buy the stuff I need for my Rebel? lol! Such problems I have.

Anyway, I’ve been taking Basic Photography lessons with Jo Avila but I missed the second class due to the sickies. Darn! Good thing master Jo has been kind enough to have me attend a make up class. The lessons are really great and I have learned so much. I just need to practice on proper exposure. Well, there is still a lot to learn. I just hope I am able to put them to good use.

I am alive. Still breathing. I have been busy with moving back to the old site and helping launch a new account. It isn’t easy I tell ya. Dealing with clients is never easy especially clients from the UK. I love love love their accent though! hahaha!

Seriously, the past weeks were hell for me spending almost 24 hours everyday, going home just to sleep a couple of hours and take a bath only to see my desk again. Weekends are no different as I had to work work work. Man, what I would do to be lying in Boracay’s sandy white beach right now. Well, guess what, I got sick this week so I had to slow down and recuperate. Along with that is a vow to not let my work eat up my life. I swear I am going to reclaim my life.
